ABOUT Amy Davis has lived in Honolulu, San Francisco and New York and now resides in Santa Fe New Mexico. She tried to drop out but was forced to stay and graduate from the RHODE ISLAND SCHOOL OF DESIGN with a BFA in Illustration. Her work has shown most recently at Colette in Paris for MY 2007 and in the book CURVY in Australia published by YEN Magazine. She was recently in Honolulu for her latest design collabo with LeSportsac, the artist edition "Island Life". Amy has created many ads and packaging for HARD CANDY and URBAN DECAY as well as NINE WEST. Her editorials have run from SEVENTEEN to PAPER, mainstream to avant garde. Ten years ago she created a streetwear collaboration with Cosmic of the Emily the Strange line. As well as fashion illustration and design, Amy is the bassist and singer for the band LOW ON HIGH with husband filmmaker guitar god Jon Moritsugu. She co-runs the production company APATHY PRODUCTIONS with Moritsugu. Their NU PONK ROCK HORROR FILM "PIG DEATH MACHINE" is SHOT and in post production! She has starred in Moritsugu's last 5 feature films (MOD FUCK EXPLOSION and MY DEGENERATION to name a few) and has recently become a producer and screenwriter with him. RESUME |
